First Birthday Fortunes Mesh Stencil
You're gonna want to steal this tradition!!! The Korean Doljanchi ceremony takes place at a child's first birthday party. The baby is placed in front of a table with multiple symbolic objects on it. The child's future is foretold by which object the child picks up first. Traditional objects are Money(wealth) A Ball(athletic prowess) Rice(health) A Paintbrush(artistic) Thread(long life) and a Book(scholarship). The Evil Cake Genius made this set of stencils to adorn our neighbor Yuna's first birthday cake. Yuna chose the paintbrush, so we think she may very well come work for us in roughly 15 years! Set of 2 mesh stencils, with 3 symbols on each. Circles around the symbols measure 2" so they're the perfect size for little medallions on a cake, toppers on cupcakes, or to stencil on cookies. Mesh Stenciling tutorial included. If stenciling white over colored background, you will need to add Liquid Whitener Gel to your Royal Icing, or use Mesh Stencil Icing for the pattern to be visible.
