The Evil Cake Genius has always been a little bit bohemian at heart. She was a little hippie in college (she's just a little hippy now) but still loves a free-love kind of pattern mixing and distressed backgrounds. She'd like to say that she's the epitome of this fashion trend, but they just don't seem to make Paisley Yoga pants, so she'll stick to using her fashion sense where it belongs...on cake!
So we've designed a whole lot of new background pattern stencils so you can mix and match 'til your cake is as Chic as Kate Moss riding in a Mini Cooper through the parking lot at Woodstock. That's the beauty of our Mesh Stencils...the stenciling is so fine, that you can lay a second stencil right over the stenciled tier and add another pattern right over the top. We couldn't help ourselves, so we had to play! Our new Distressed Background Mesh Stencil is a great look on its own, but topped with our Boho Chic Band and Boho Chic Border stencils...it's just not fair to the other cakes in the room....just. not. fair.
