Cake Flakes!
Flaky doesn't have to be a bad thing...
After all, flaky pie crusts are delicious (although the ECG is incapable of making one that doesn't resemble shoe leather) and your Flaky friend in the group is usually way more entertaining than your "normal" friends. Snowflakes are pretty, and Corn Flakes are delicious (especially when made into those little Christmas Wreath treats with the marshmallow goo).
And now to top it all off, we are proud to introduce what is sure to be your new favorite cake decoration...Cake Flakes!
The ECG is obsessed with these! They can turn any Buttercream or White Chocolate Ganache-frosted cake into a glam-fest of sparkly texture. Wanna' use them over fondant, no problem! Just brush the fondant with a little piping gel to attach them. We were so impressed with how easy these were to use, that we made a little video with the samples we got from the magic Cake Flake Fairies.
Our sample colors reminded us of dragonfly colors, so we whipped up a couple of Gum Paste Dragonflies with our handy little Dragonfly Mesh Stencil Set and cranked out this little sweetie so fast, you should hate us.
