Let's Make Super Easy Mini Heart Cakes
These little cakes are ready to travel, gorgeous, and easy (kinda' reminds the ECG of herself!) Not only can you use your favorite recipe or store-bought cake mix and frosting, but these little lovelies go from naked to stunning without even touching a pastry bag (also, just...like...the ECG.) Sorry, not sorry. And with the matching pop-on lids, they are perfect for selling and gifting to people on the go!

NOTE: The ECG used her Ultimate Chocolate Cake Mix to make these (1/4 bag of mix makes 24-28 of these). You can use any cake mix or recipe that you like, but be sure to turn the oven tempurature down to 250-275F MAX temperature on Convection if you have that setting to keep the cakes from crowning too much in the middle. And fill the pans low (about 3 Tablespoons of batter per pan). Trust us, it's so much easier to get a clean frosting swipe when the cakes are below the rim of the mini pans.
