Ahhh...lace. Nothing is more classic and coveted on a wedding cake. And for good reason, it's gorgeous! But like most beauties, she can be a bit high maintenance. For years, the ECG hand-piped lace outlines that were meticulously traced onto the side of the cake with a stylus. Not only did it take forever, but it still lacked the lacy texture she was going for. And so were born our Evil Cake Genius Lace Stencils. If you've used them, you know that they produce realistic lace details in a fraction of the time. And with our super-sneaky tulle stenciling method, the lace comes out perfectly and with a realistic lace texture to boot! If you haven't tried our Lace Stencils, they're gonna change your cakey life! Download our Lace Stenciling Photo Tutorial HERE, then take a peek at one of our best selling Lace Stencil Collections
Like all of our Lace Stencils, the Bodice Lace was copied directly from a designer wedding gown. We loved it so much that we broke it into three separate stencils to accommodate anywhere from a 4" tall to an 8" tall tier. But that wasn't enough! With wedding cakes trending toward different patterns on each tier, you asked us to expand on the design. And so we created our Garden Lace Collection from the same elements as the Bodice Lace! And the number one thing you asked for was a lacy monogram stencil.
This Garden Lace Monogram stencil can be ordered blank (to fill in with a hand cut or a Flexabet Letter). Or with a custom monogram, so that you can complete the design in one glorious swipe! Don't worry, you don't have to refuse wedding cakes for anyone whose last name begins with anything other than an "M" We can put any letter in there, promise.
But that's only two tiers of glorious lacy variety, so we added our Garden Lace Garland Stencil.
It's low enough to use on a standard height tier, and lines up seamlessly side to side! And it is gorgeous on its own, or with a teeny bit of over piping and some Edible Small Pearls for added depth.
