Let's Make A Difference
You're on Evil Cake Genius, so you're already Awesome. But there's always room to be Awesomer (sorry, English teachers.)
If you've been an ECG Minion for a while, then you know that she likes to run promos every so often to benefit some of her favorite charities! And now, she's making charitable giving a permanent home on the site. Thanks to your purchases, we have donated over 1600 pounds of pet food and personal hygiene products to those in need.
Here's How It Works:
Each holiday, the ECG is going to pick some of her favorite products and donate 25% of the sales of those products directly to making a difference. We're going to start with two needs that the ECG has noticed while volunteering at her local Food Shelf.
1) Personal Hygiene Products: Every time she shows up for a shift, there is a noticeable deficit in the area of personal hygiene products. This ranges from Deodorant to Diapers to Laundry Detergent and Soap. Basic needs to maintain (or restore) a sense of dignity to people who are finding themselves in tough financial times.
2) Pet Food: the ECG has been bringing cases of pet food every time she shows up for a shift. Sadly, by the next shift the shelf is empty again. With your contribution, she can continue to stock this often overlooked need in the community. Helping people who have hit hard times keep their pets restores dignity and normalcy to families that are in crisis. It also supports Animal Rescues by keeping these pets in loving homes.
Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, the two new "Let's Make A Difference" Products. We've also added donation "products" to the site that you can easily add to your cart. 100% of these products will go directly to purchasing goods for the food shelf. The ECG will personally purchase, and deliver the goods during her shifts. Since they are not physical products, they will not add any cost to your shopping cart for shipping, so go nuts!
