Mug Huggers!
PSA from the ECG: If you're drinking ANYTHING from a mug this holiday season without one of these tiny gingerbread house mug huggers on the rim, well, you're doing it wrong.
These little cuties make adorable gifts but they're so fun to make that they make a great party activity too! Just skip the Royal flooding and let people decorate the unfrosted cookies with piping and sprinkles.

You can use any Sugar Cookie Recipe for these but the ECG loves making hers with Minion Jenna's Grandma's Pepperkar Cookies. They're rolled out super thin (so they make sleek little houses) and bake up crisp for the perfect texture to compliment any mug-worthy beverage.

Grandma Connie's Pepperkar Cookies
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tsp dark corn syrup
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
Cream butter and sugar then add egg and dark corn syrup. Sift dry ingredients and then add into mixer. Roll super thin and cut out.
Bake at 350 for about 10-12 Minutes (could be less or more depending on your oven)
