Metallic Pearl Royal Icing Mix
You'd have to be trapped under a rock (or a very dense pound cake) to have not already heard about/tried/fell in love with/ our Metallic Royal Icing Mixes. They're the ultimate convenience for any cookie or cake pro. Simply add water, and pipe, stencil, drip, or flood. The icing sets up firm, and ultra-shiny...no more hand-painting for metallic elements. But, buuuuuuut...you may be missing out on what is the ECG's favorite of all of these brilliant mixes...the shy little icing mix that keeps to herself and out of the way, until the popular (but oh, so deep) guy takes notice. Next thing you know, the Pearl Royal Icing is the prettiest icing at the Icing Prom, and we fade to black with some Psychedelic Furs song playing in the background.
Okay, okay, maybe the ECG watched one too many John Hughes films in the 80's, but not unlike our teenage heroine, the Pearl Royal Icing has depth and versatility beyond her peers. Turns out, she's not just Pretty in Pearl. She's also Pretty in Pink...green, purple, teal, and orange. With a couple of drips of any Gel Food Coloring, this stuff out-glams the snotty cheerleader ten-fold. Oh, and let's talk about smart...she can be tinted to create any shade of the 50 different commonly accepted shades of Rose Gold, so that you don't have to tell your bride that her invitations are really more of a metallic mauve. And whatever pantone decides is the color of the year, you can make it in metallic!
