What's more Awesome than our Evil Cake Genius Wood Grain Painting technique? Not much!
That is...until now that we have THE MOST INCREDIBLE WOOD GRAIN TEXTURE MATS EVER???
They're here! All the way from the great north woodsiness of Canada! And if you know anyone from Canada, you know that they know two things better than anyone in the world...Forests and Ketchup Flavored Potato Chips. Now, the ECG still can't help but gag a little when she thinks about Ketchup Chips, but the incredible nature molds that are coming out of the Simply Nature Collection are enough to forgive even the most egregious of junk food flavor combinations.
We just couldn't help but combine our wood grain painting technique with their Ginormous Wood Plank Mat and the result? See for yourself!
Go ahead, download our Free Woodgrain Tutorial.
But, the wood grain mats are the tip of the Forest-y iceberg! Get a load of their Bark and Birch Bark Mats. The bark mold was cast from an actual Box Elder Tree (don't worry, no trees were harmed in the making of these molds)
But let's talk about leaves for a sec, huh? The ECG doesn't know about you, but come late September, her bakery is a frosting Autumn Leaf making factory. And can someone explain to her why you can get life-sized leaf cutters just about anywhere, but all the leaf veiners on the market are TOO SMALL to make a realistic autumn leaf? That's why you're gonna get a second Hallelujah in one newsletter people!
These Bad Boys are cast off of, you guessed it...REAL LEAVES! So they're ginormous!!! The Oak Leaf Veiner measures 5 inches long...5 inches!!! Hahahaaaaa that's amazing!! The Large Hydrangea Leaf Veiner (that the ECG uses for her Elm Leaves) is 4-1/4 inches, and don't even get her started on the Ginormous Maple. And the beauty is, that the veiners work for smaller leaves as well! So buy one veiner and imprint leaves for all of your leafy cutter sizes!
So Adious Summer! It's been Real. But Autumn just got Real-er
