Let's Make Cookie Advent Calendars!
There's nothing quite like those little chocolate advent calendars. Counting down the days 'til the Big Man comes while getting your sugar fix is one of the biggest joys of the Holiday Season. That's why the Advent Calendar (no matter what it's filled with) one of the ECG's favorite gifts! No messy wrapping paper, no pressure to hang something of questionable taste on your wall (or your person) and after its empty, it politely deposits itself into the recycling bin, no packing it up with the 8,000 other Christmas relics that you have to store for another year.)
The only problem with most of these calendars is the size. The little compartments are ridiculously small. That's why the ECG has taken it upon herself to design these big ol' Advent Calendars with 2-1/4" compartments that hold a Chocolate Covered Oreo, A Peanut Butter Christmas Tree, multiple pieces of your home-made caramels, etc. And she just couldn't help but make matching Cookie Icing Sheets for them while she was at it.
And to keep things exciting, she made chocolate covered Mint, Lemon, Holiday, and traditional Oreos, as well as Chocolate Covered Thin Mint Cookies, and her new obsession...Salted Caramel Covered Gingersnaps (must use our Dishwasher Safe Chocolate Covered Oreo Mold for these if you're using store-bought, the standard Oreo mold isn't quite big enough for one of those bad boys!)
