Cake Leveling Ring
This brilliant tool makes leveling and splitting cakes a breeze! Simply place the cake inside the ring, and use a serrated knife to cut off the raised center of the cake, and split into layers for filling. The evenly spaced gaps in the ring keep your knife perfectly level while cutting! Our 14" Serrated Bread Knife works beautifully with this!

Directions: Expand the Slicer to slightly larger than the cake's diameter and lower it carefully over the cake. Press the solid section of the Slicer against the cake and hold onto the handles. Using a long bread knife, begin slicing through the desired slot to create the first layer. When the solid section of the Slicer is reached, leave the knife in place, rotate the Slicer without lifting it, and finish slicing that layer. TIP: The ECG likes to use a small piece of non-skid shelf liner underneath the cake plate to keep it from sliding while leveling.
