Chiquita Diagonal Stripe Mesh Stencil

Inspired by Ian Stuart's "Chiquita" wedding dress.  This mesh stencil helped Melanie, of The Custom Cakery to create hundreds of little lines on our Edible Fabric to create this stunner of a cake!!  Part of the Posh Frock Shop Weddings Collaboration at Cake International. This show-stopper would translate to any wedding cake or fashionista's birthday cake.  The classic diagonal textile stripe works for so many cake designs, that this will be a go to stencil in your cakey arsenal.  And since it is a mesh stencil, the Royal Icing stencils so thin, that the pattern can be stenciled onto edible fabric, and pleated, even rolled into fabric flowers without the stripes cracking!

• Mesh Stencil
• Pattern measures 6-12" x 12-1/2"
• Stripes measure .16 inches wide

With any mesh stencil with large open areas, we suggest adding liquid whitener gel (bright white) to the stenciling royal icing for any color besides black, or use our Mesh Stencil Icing to create an opaque color, keeping the stripes from appearing water-colored or patchy.
