It is possible to use these to emboss shortbread cookies, but the detail will not show up if your recipe rises at all, so do not attempt it with sugar cookie dough!!  Test your recipe before counting on the details to show up!!  Cookies can be covered with Modeling Chocolate, a delicious alternative to fondant.
