Witch Cake with Chocolate Cake Filled Cauldron Topper

Let's decorate with friends...or fiends!!! The ECG purposely incorporated a TON of fun and easy decorating elements on this cake to give you inspiration to make your own design! Have some fun decorating with the Evil Cake Genius and her friend (fiend) Alise as they make this cake and then create your own Wicked design! NOTE: this was Alise's FIRST TIME using a contour comb, frosting guide plates, Lil' Rolly, 3 Part Molds, and Chocolate Transfer Sheets...and she did it all on video...NAILED IT!

Witch Cake with Cake Filled Chocolate Cauldron Topper

We've made some fabbo Holiday Bark using Chocolate transfer sheets in the past, so the ECG decided to cut out some decorative circles for the cake using a transfer. Just like all new techniques, there's a learning curve. Turns out that with full color sheets, you can't wiggle the cutter around or it messes up the edge of the transfer.  And just like most cakey mistakes, it was solved by cramming the ugliness into a mound of buttercream. Wish that worked for all mistakes...the ECG's entire portfolio of School Pictures would have her with a head covered in delicious buttercream swirls, rather than a nasty perm and waterfall bangs. But enough chatter... Watch:

Ok... did you get some ideas?? Time to mix and match to make your own fabbo design! We hope so! Please share with us what you make using any of these elements. We'd love to see what you do!
