Ginormous Butterfly Wing Mesh Stencil by Cake Halliday

Want to make any cake a couture event?  Give it wings!!!  This epic cake by Cake Halliday, used our Edible Fabric to create beautiful butterfly wings that drape and flow off of the tier. Caroline supported the edges of her wings with a wire frame, but you could also stencil on icing sheets and allow them to dry completely for the same effect as long as it's not too humid in your area.  Either way, the Royal Icing leaves behind such a thin layer of icing that the wings can be bent and manipulated without cracking the royal icing.  Watch the ECG mesh stencil on fabric sheets HERE

You can hand-paint or airbrush the orange color on the wings.  For Airbrush, we recommend our Ginormous Butterfly Wing Acrylic Mask
