The Evil Cake Genius has been playing in the kitchen at the lair, and she added these simple Rice Crispy Treats to her new Fall Line up. Put them on a table full of other Easy Halloween & Fall Cookies, Treats & Cakes and you've got Aprés Trick-or-Treat nailed!
Just look how a little red food coloring, some buttercream and a gorgeous Icing Sheet can turn humble RKT's into something to lose your head over! And yes, she's added those genius level rolling guides to the site...they're 1/4 inch thick, so she used 3 stacked on either side of her Krispie Treats to make them 3/4" thick, then added one more on either side to get a perfect 1/4" of buttercream (get our Buttercream Icing Recipe here) on top. You can use this technique with any of your favorite bar or cake recipes (just check those Pumpkin Spice Bat Bars made with our Univeral Cake Mix (get the recipe here.)
