Pressed Flower Cakes...Geniused!

Unless you are currently living under a rock, you've seen all the glorious pressed flower cakes pinned and shared across all forms of social media.  As a flower junkie, the ECG lurves this trend.  As a cake decorator, she has mixed feelings.  Just like most decorators, she's not a big fan of surprises, and she has been surprised (not in the happiest way) with the outcome of pressed flowers in the past.  They tend to be unpredictable, and often turn dull and sad in the process.  That, coupled with the big question of which varieties are actually edible, and whether the grower used pesticides, was enough for her to decide that there had to be a better way.  And Here it is!

This cake was decorated start-to-finish in about 15 minutes, using our new Pressed Flower Arrangement Icing Sheet.  Just like all of our printed icing sheets, they are completely edible, and stick right onto fresh buttercream.
